The McCoy covers will retrofit in the majority of existing homes. The Attic LadderMate cover will fit all attic ladders with a maximum rough opening of 25” x 54”. The existing wood trim around the door will have to be removed for the Attic LadderMate cover to fit over the door to assure an air-tight seal.

The trim around your existing attic hatch and the door will have to be removed for the AccessMate cover to fit over the opening. McCoy has three sizes of AccessMate covers to fit the majority of attic hatches.
